Is CasinoWise a gambling app?
No. There is no wagering, no deposit, no balance to spend and no prize to win. It is a reference for
the rules and odds of casino games, with practice drills that have no stake. Nothing in it can be
exchanged for money or anything else of value.
What does it cost, and are there purchases inside?
It is free, and there is nothing to buy in it — no subscription, no coins, no unlock. The catalogue,
the guides, the glossary and all four drills are included.
Do I need an account or a connection?
Neither. There is no sign-up of any kind. The catalogue, guides and drills are bundled with the app
and work with the phone in flight mode. The only things that need a connection are the two legal pages,
which open in an in-app web view.
Where is my progress kept?
On the device, inside the app's own storage: the games, guides and terms you save, and the hands
played, accuracy and best streak for each drill. It is not backed up to a server and it is not shared
with us. Deleting the app removes it, and Settings has a reset for the drill records and a clear for
saved items.
Why does your house edge differ from another site's?
Because the edge depends on the rules. Blackjack with a dealer who stands on soft seventeen is not the
same game as one where the dealer hits; a French wheel with la partage is not a European wheel. Every
figure in the app is shown with its basis on the same page. If you think a basis is wrong, write to us
and we will look again.
Which iPhones does it run on?
Any iPhone running iOS 16 or later. It is a portrait-only iPhone app and it also runs in the
compatibility window on an iPad. There is no Android version.
How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?
Email the address above. For a bug, the screen you were on, your iPhone model and its iOS version
narrow it down fastest. You can also send it from inside the app: Settings, then Contact support, which
attaches a screenshot if you want one.
I need help with gambling, not with the app.
Please speak to a service rather than to us — we are not equipped to help and would not want to delay
you. In the United States the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-522-4700, available at any
hour. The same number appears in the app under Settings, then Responsible play. If you are outside the
United States, your national helpline is the right first call.
